Welcome everybody to the website of 8 year-old Rafalek Babicz. He is a happy and cheerful boy who is suffering from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA)-a disease that cannot be cured.

Rafalek is not aware of his sickness and the fact that for the rest of his life he will depend on help from his family and from other people.

He realizes, though,  that not everything is like it should be-he knows he is weaker than his friends and can't walk or even sit on his own.

Today's medicine is not able to cure him and help him walk. We are only able to reduce his pain and help him become a little more independent.

In order to help him we need faith and help from good people who would donate money for rehabilitation and equipment that support his life.
